Inbox

The inbox is a common element of any list/to-do list.

Everything you would like to sort later lands here.

Output Configuration

What describes an entry in your inbox? It's an entry that is not a child of any list and, therefore, has no links. Additionally, there's also no menu point on the left sidebar, so it also has no anchor.

So, by filtering all entries which have no anchor and no links, we (naturally) get all entries that are in our Inbox.

Optionally, we sort the output by date created ascending, which will place new entries at the bottom of the list.

Input Configuration

Our input, although it does exist (because a non-existing input would not show an input field at all!), will be left empty. An input that would link the entry to another entry would not show the entry in our inbox.

Also, it is not best practice to link new entries to the inbox itself, as the Inbox outputs only entries which have no links at all.
