Daily Todos

The daily todos is a common element of any task planner.

Every entry, independently of its source, that is scheduled for today and has a status is shown here.

Output Configuration

What describes an entry in your daily todos? It's an entry is scheduled for today. Additionally, since you want to see actionable entries only, you should see only entries that have a status.

So, by filtering all entries that have a status and a scheduled date of today, we get all entries that are in our Daily Todos.

status is set + schedule is today

Optionally, we sort the output by scheduled time ascending, which will place entries with an earlier time at the top of the list.

Input Configuration

As with the output, we want to make sure that entries created in this list should automatically be scheduled for today and have a status open.

Also, it is not best practice to link new entries to the Tasks Today itself, as the Tasks Today output cares purely for status and schedule dates.
